Application/Consent Form
No camper will be allowed to participate without a
completed application and consent form. Your
personal insurance will be used as the primary
coverage.
Camp Insurance
Our camp insurance will be a secondary coverage. It
will cover injuries incurred in supervised camp activities
that are not covered by your primary insurance. Each
camper will be sent insurance and medical forms prior
to attending camps.
Location
The camps will be held at the UNCW Varsity Tennis Complex on our 9 newly resurfaced US Open style Courts. The campus address is 601 South College Road, Wilmington, NC 28403. Overnight campers will stay in the UNCW dorms with Coaching/Instructor supervision for all activities.
Supervision
Activities both on and off the court are supervised by
staff members for the entire stay at camp. No one is
allowed to leave campus during camp.
Day Camps - What to Bring
Your own lunch, water bottle, racquets, sunscreen.
Overnight Camp - What to Bring
Sheets, pillow, blankets, towels, toiletries, racquets, sunscreen, water bottle, spending money for snacks in-between meals (suggested $30/week)
Roommate Policy
Please email any roommate requests to Hans Olsen at [email protected] All overnight campers will receive a roommate assignment based on age/gender (if you do not have a specific roommate request).
Meals-Day Camp
Please bring your own lunch to camp each day (except on the last day of camp...we will host a pizza lunch for everyone).
Meals-Overnight Camp
All meals are included in the price of the overnight camp. We will be eating breakfast, lunch and dinner at our on-campus dining options.
Inclement Weather
If needed, we will move our instruction session times to adjust to inclement weather.
Family Discount
Each additional child/sibling will receive a $20.00 discount for the summer camps.
"These Camps are neither supported, controlled, nor supervised by The University of North Carolina Wilmington, but rather is under the sole supervision, control and sponsorship of Camp Director - Hans Olsen or Camp Director - Mait Dubois." All Seahawk Tennis Camps are open and accessible to individuals with disabilities while balancing the risk of physical injury to the individual and others. Participation in any program or camp by individuals with disabilities is subject to prior and ongoing review by Seahawk Tennis Camps. In order to assess and evaluate a request for an accommodation, the camp must receive notice of the individuals desire to participate no later than 60 days prior to the commencement of the applicable camp.
